Log files

These log file data records are evaluated in anonymised form in order to improve the offer and make it more user-friendly, to find and correct errors and to control the utilisation of servers.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your device in a designated directory. These cookies can be used, for example, to determine whether you have visited a website before. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can set your browser so that no cookies are saved or explicit consent is required before a cookie is saved. You can also delete cookies that have already been set at any time. Please note that deactivating cookies may lead to restrictions in the use of our website.

We need the cookies for the following purposes: statistical purposes and operation of the website

Web analysis

We use – like almost every website operator – analysis tools in the form of tracking software to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website.

This website uses our own system “Webtrekk Analytics” to collect statistical data about the use of this website and to optimise the offer accordingly. This is a statistics programme that records usage anonymously or pseudonymously. The use of Webtrekk Analytics enables us to carry out a pseudonymised analysis of user behaviour, for which information transmitted by your browser is collected and evaluated. All evaluations are not personalised, but anonymised or pseudonymised, i.e. personal identification features are replaced by a label for the purpose of excluding or making it significantly more difficult to determine the person concerned. For this purpose, the IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is stored. Cookies are also used within the scope of Webtrekk Analytics. The collection and storage of data by Webtrekk Analytics can be objected to at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please call up the following link: https://www.webtrekk.com/en/index/opt-out-webtrekk/opt-out-registered/. The Confirmation of the link will set a so-called opt-out cookie on your data carrier. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your computer, this opt-out cookie will also be deleted, i.e. if you wish to continue to object to the collection of data by Webtrekk Analytics, you must set the opt-out cookie again. The opt-out cookie is set per browser and computer. If you visit our website from home and work or with different browsers, you must activate the opt-out cookie in the different browsers or on the different computers.

Use of Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising programme “Google AdWords” on our website and in this context conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking will be placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we will be able to recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked across AdWords customers’ websites.
The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. Here, we learn the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO for the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the effect and efficiency of this advertising.
You have the right to object at any time to this processing of personal data relating to you based on Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO for reasons arising from your particular situation.
To do so, you can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
Furthermore, you can deactivate personalised advertising for you in Google’s advertising settings. You can find instructions on how to do this at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de. You can also deactivate the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further information on opting out given there.
Further information and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Usage-based advertising

The advertising displayed on this website is optimised for you by anonymously collecting and processing your usage behaviour so that you are shown advertising tailored to your interests. For this purpose, a cookie is stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the hard drive of your computer and enable recognition, but do not allow personal identification of you. Behavourial targeting is operated by third-party companies that also run advertising for websites of other providers. These third-party companies then create the aforementioned usage profiles themselves by means of cookies and apply their respective targeting systems to select the collected data for the purpose of user-specific advertising. These are the following companies: Google (the Adwords conversion pixel is used for search engine optimisation)

Another option for deactivating cookies with regard to usage-based advertising is offered by the preference manager of the BVDW, www.meine-cookies.org/cookies_verwalten/praeferenzmanager-beta.htmlsowie the preference management of YourOnlineChoices, www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/, respectively the privacy settings of Google, https://policies.google.com/privacy www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/, respectively the privacy settings of Google,https://policies.google.com/privacy
